Privacy policy

The privacy statement of krafton Profielen b.v., krafton Projects b.v. and krafton Adblue containers b.v. (hereinafter:  KRAFTON) is presented below. This statement describes the way in which KRAFTON handles and processes any items of your personal data that it collects.

PERSONAL DATA THAT WE PROCESS

We respect your privacy and ensure confidential treatment of the personal information that you make known to us. Personal data is processed in accordance with requirements such as those set by the Dutch General Data Protection Regulation (Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming). This privacy statement describes how KRAFTON handles your personal data. KRAFTON processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you submit that data to us. The personal data that we process is summarised below:

  • First and last names
  • Gender
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Bank account number

SPECIAL AND/OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA THAT WE PROCESS

Our website and/or service is not intended to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have their parents’ or guardian’s permission. However, we have no way of determining whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore urge parents to involve themselves in their children’s online activities in order to prevent collection of children’s personal data without parental permission. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without permission, please contact us via info@krafton.nl and we will delete this information.

THE REASONS WHY AND BASIS ON WHICH WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA

KRAFTON processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your payment
  • Sending you our newsletter
  • In order to contact you by telephone or email if required when providing our service.
  • In order to deliver goods and provide services to you
  • KRAFTON also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so; e.g. the data we require for our tax returns.

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING

KRAFTON does not use automated processes to make decisions about matters that can have (significant) personal consequences. This involves decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems without human verification (e.g. by an employee of KRAFTON).

THE PERIOD DURING WHICH WE RETAIN PERSONAL DATA

KRAFTON does not retain your personal data for longer than strictly required in order to fulfil the purposes for which your data was collected. In addition, we retain your personal data for the period we consider relevant in relation to our service provision. The above periods apply unless KRAFTON is obliged to retain personal data for longer pursuant to a statutory provision.

SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

KRAFTON does not sell your data to third parties and only discloses it if this is required for performance of our agreement with you, or for compliance with a statutory obligation. We enter into a processor agreement with companies that process your data at our instruction in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality in relation to your data. KRAFTON remains responsible for these processing operations.

COOKIES, OR SIMILAR TECHNIQUES THAT WE USE

KRAFTON only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website The cookies that we use are required for proper technical operation of the website and your user convenience. They ensure that the website operates properly and remember your preferred settings. We can also optimise our website with these cookies. You can reject cookies by setting your web browser to prevent storage of cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information that has previously been stored via your browser settings. We use Google Analytics to perform analyses. When doing so, we use Google’s privacy-friendly settings. ACCESSING, RECTIFYING OR ERASING DATA

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or object to processing of your personal data by KRAFTON, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send your personal data that is known to us to you or to another organisation, to be specified by you, in the form of a computer file. You can submit a request to access, rectify, erase or transfer your personal data, or notification that you have withdrawn your consent for processing your personal data to info@krafton.nl. In order to ensure that the request for access originates from you, we request you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. Make sure that you use black ink to obscure your passport photograph, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the series of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) on this copy. This is required to protect your privacy. We will respond as quickly as possible to your request, within four weeks at the latest. HOW WE PROTECT PERSONAL DATA

We have implemented suitable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or any other form of unlawful processing. For example, we use secure data connections and secure systems. KRAFTON takes protecting your data seriously and has set up suitable safeguards to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure and unauthorised changes. UPDATES TO OUR PRIVACY STATEMENT

We reserve the right to update this privacy statement. We will inform you by email when we update this privacy statement and state the date from which the change (or changes) takes effect.
